Loblaw Digital owns the e-commerce experiences for Loblaw Corporation, the largest retailer in Canada. I began my journey by launching Marketplace, then added Joe Fresh, PC Express, DX Studio and Product Insights to my portfolio during my tenure.
Led a high performing team of 17 product managers, analysts and directors from 4 different business units
Co-created the overall business strategy with each business' leadership team outlining big bets, revenue expectations and strategic direction of each business, resulting in aggregate yearly sales of $2.5B
Built and reported on product OKRs for 3 businesses that laddered up to overall objectives to ensure team alignment
Embedded the Product Analytics & Insights function into the product delivery process so that all features were released with instrumentation, outcome hypothesis and reporting dashboards
Built strong cross functional relationships with internal stakeholders across digital division and the enterprise
Iterated on the product strategy for Marketplace to achieve Product Market Fit, tripling yearly revenue in under 3 years
Reduced shipping costs for the Joe Fresh clothing business by 30% in first year by launching the "Ship from Store" program
Launched PCX pass subscription for unlimited grocery pickup and delivery, resulting in 100k customers in the first year (meeting the yearly goals in 60 days), 20% of customers converting to the pass, and customer spend increasing by 55%
Spearheaded "Product Craft" which included education, coaching, common practices and tools resulting in a 20% improvement in learning satisfaction

ChefHero/Notch, VP Product
2017-2019
ChefHero/Notch is a Restaurant Food Supply Marketplace, that helps restaurateurs streamline their ordering processes. I led a team of 4 Product Managers and Designers.
Drove product strategy & roadmap to evolve the original POC for ChefHero's restaurant supply ordering marketplace
Transformed the product from a proof-of-concept to a market-driven application focused on key jobs-to-be-done for the restaurant kitchen, resulting in 300% growth in GMV in 1 year
Partnered with the leadership, sales and marketing teams to understand their challenges as input to the product vision
Defined product market fit with weekly restaurant and supplier interviews and feedback

Touchbistro, vp product
2016-2017
TouchBistro is an iPad-based Restaurant Automation Software that includes POS, order management and kitchen automation. I hired and led a team of 9 product managers, designers and product marketers.
Refocused the product team to be market-driven using inputs like NPS, customer feedback and user testing which improved sales close rates, increasing ARR from $20M to $24M in one year
Introduced sales training to better arm the sales organisation, including product knowledge, selling tactics and competitive intelligence
Built go-to-market process from the ground up including product marketing and organizational readiness in partnership with sales and marketing

2013-2016
Clearfit was a hiring tool for SMBs that included job postings and a job fit assessment. I led a team of 10 in product and development.
Introduced NPS, and through iteration was able to move from - 20 to +20 as a result of customer feedback
Conducted experiments including free trials, pricing, and messaging to drive product-led growth through the funnel without the need for direct sales
Achievers, director, Product management
2008-2010
Achievers is a rewards and recognition Saas solution for enterprise clients. I was their first Product Leader.
Evolved the product from a custom instance per client to a scalable multi-tenant SaaS based solution that supported a hundred+ clients, reducing onboarding time from weeks to hours
Drove roadmap for Achievers' white-label rewards & recognition platform that included a newsfeed, recognition tools, and rewards catalogue resulting in a 100% increase in sales in 1 year
Partnering with the VP of Engineering, we transformed the development process to Agile, resulting in a 100% increase in output per sprint
Tucows, director, Product management
2002-2008
Tucows was the second largest domain registrar in the world, that provided a marketplace of wholesale services for Internet Service Providers with an ARR of $90M. I led a team of 7 Product Managers.
Fostered a strong online reseller community of 10k through thought leadership and support
Created and managed the P&L of each business line of white label solutions for resellers to incorporate into their ISP services, such as email, domain management, blog and website building tools
