Nice things people have said about me…

I have had the honour of working with some amazing people over the course of my career. These are blatantly stolen from my linkedin profile, with some context. (you can find more there).

Stacey Feero, Director, Product

I worked with Stacey at Loblaw Digital where we built Marketplace together, and she moved into the director role on my team leading Joe Fresh & Marketplace.

Kim is hands-down the most talented product management leader I know. I was lucky enough to join her team at Loblaw Digital to help grow Loblaw's only digital-first business that did not have a brick & mortar retail location. I learned everything I know about how to grow and nurture an early stage product towards product-market fit from her tutelage. Kim is what I would call a strategic executor -- she knows how to shape a product strategy that will win and she knows how to lead a team to execute on it. It's an extremely powerful combination. She has the ability to wrangle her executives around that strategy while empowering her teams to shape the tactics to execute that strategy.

Aside from her product chops, Kim is an exceptionally humble and supportive people manager. She was my manager: pushing me hard when I needed a kick in the butt. And she was my sponsor: she advocated for me consistently in rooms I was not in and helped raise my brand at Loblaw Digital so that I continued to level up. You will not find a more exceptional, caring, & committed leader than Kim.

Frank Caron, Senior Product Manager

Frank was a seasoned product manager on my team at TouchBistro.

Kim is an extraordinary product leader. Within six months, she was able to build a world-class product team from 0 to 10, with a complete UX discipline and a full product marketing function. Oh, and somehow, she also managed to completely revamp the way we understood our customer feedback, the way we measured our customer happiness, the way we worked with our partners, the way we planned our long-term roadmap, the way we executed in the short term, and the way we collaborated with dev. She is an incredibly passionate, empathetic, and humble leader who stands head and shoulders above her contemporaries. And while she has the stewardship to build and lead the team, she's also an incredible executor. She gets shit done, and that's why I both love working with Kim and look forward to doing so again.

Oliver Tabay, VP Engineering

I worked closely with Oliver at ChefHero where we led product delivery.

I had the pleasure to work with Kim for more than a year in a fast-paced startup environment. She is a true leader and great mentor for her team, always pushing them to learn, perform better and grow their career. The product team led by Kim was client focused, metric driven and they would re-prioritize the road map based on client feedback and the business needs. It was great to work with a product team that understands the importance of balancing new feature development and reducing technical debt, while continuously improving the process. I really hope that we will have the chance to work together again.

Jamie Schneiderman, CEO, Clearfit

Jamie and I worked closely together to define the product strategy at Clearfit.

Kim was responsible for leading both our product & development teams, a position with a unique set of challenges. In that combined role she defined the product strategy and lead its implementation. In addition, as part of the leadership team, she was a key contributor to overall business decisions, and strategy. Kim's perspectives were always fair, thoughtful and direct. I could always count on her to deliver: motivating her team, and pushing for results; she was my right hand during the 3 years we worked together. I would not hesitate to hire Kim again.

Bianca Manga, Sr. Product Designer

Bianca was on my team at ChefHero.

Kim is straight up an inspiring, driven and impactful leader. Her extensive experience, knowledge base and passion for product is remarkable. Working collaboratively and cross-departmentally, balancing technical constraints with business goals, Kim always considered the customer at every stage. But what I admire most about Kim is her integrity and dedication to building the right thing. She isn’t afraid to ask the hard questions, or say what needs to be heard instead of what’s complacently expected. Her leadership style is humble that empowers her team to be high-performing and successful. She is kind, empathetic and incredibly supportive. And like any great leader, she encourages her team to try new things, to be creative and to take risks, while nurturing a safe space to fail and learn. Any company would be fortunate to have Kim as the head of product and respective teams. She should be a role-model to many and I wouldn’t hesitate to work alongside her again.
